THE EMERGENCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF NEUROPSYCHOLINGUISTICS

This study explores the emergence and development of neuropsycholinguistics as an interdisciplinary field integrating linguistics, psychology, and neuroscience. It examines the relationship between language, cognition, and brain function, as well as the transition from behaviorist to cognitive and neurobiological approaches. The study highlights the role of neurolinguistics in understanding speech processes and demonstrates that the integration of psycholinguistic and neurological perspectives has led to a more comprehensive explanation of language mechanisms.
