Population distribution estimates for the 2021 floods in Belgium derived from Facebook user activity

This record contains the geospatial outputs generated using a reproducible GIS-based analytical workflow developed in R to estimate spatio-temporal variations in population distribution using Meta/Facebook Population Maps, WorldPop demographic datasets, and GIS reference layers. The dataset includes gridded population estimates, derived raster products, maps & figures, and summary tables produced for the 2021 European floods in the Vesdre catchment (Belgium).
