They stand facing one another in front of the wall of a stick and mud dwelling with a thatched roof. The interpreter, with short hair, on the left, stands with his hands clasped behind his back. He is wearing a vest over a white shirt, with tie and trousers. The chief, with long hair, at right, stands with his hands thrust in the front pockets of his trousers. He also wears a jacket over a shirt with a bandana about his neck.
