Simulated and experimentally measured data of DOI: 10.1109/TUFFC.2025.3534429. Article compares the velocity vector imaging performance of cascaded dual-polarity wave (CDW) imaging decoded both in the time domain (T-CDW) using two trains and in the frequency domain (F-CDW) using a single train for decoding. Results are compared to plane wave (PW) imaging for different signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions. Data consists of point spread function measurements, SNR measurements, and simulated and experimentally measured parabolic tube flow and rotational disk flow. All ultrafast ultrasound data uses a PRF of 8 kHz, with repeated steering angles of -20 and + 20 degrees. CDW imaging was performed using four pulses in a train.
