Rarefaction vs. accumulation curves: Methodological validation data

This dataset contains the individual-based point-intercept records used for the methodological validation of species accumulation patterns in the Patagonian Steppe. It includes raw occurrence data for 30 representative transects (three per plant community), allowing for a comparative analysis between sequential (field-ordered) accumulation and randomized (rarefaction) richness patterns. These data demonstrate that the sampling sequence does not bias species richness estimations, thereby reinforcing the reproducibility and robustness of the methodology described in the associated study.
