This dataset presents a new perspective on the relationship between forestry and material and energy resource flows.The sheet “stumpage and carbon credit” illustrates the process of converting standing timber and carbon credit prices into values per unit of carbon weight, while “wood and hydrocarbons” shows the corresponding conversion of wood and various hydrocarbon prices.The sheet “forestry, energy and economy” contains data on Japan’s forestry sector, including domestic wood demand and supply, together with energy consumption and socioeconomic indicators.Data sources are indicated within each respective sheet.
