Gene database of Arabidopsis thaliana

<i>Arabidopsis thaliana</i> is a small flowering plant with a short life cycle that has been used as model organism for studying plant development and genetics. This work sought to provide foundational information for <i>A. thaliana</i> by parsing the annotated genome sequence of the organism downloaded from GenBank. Comprising gene name, gene function, and gene sequence, the resource should be useful for a variety of genetics and molecular biology experiments seeking to dissect the complex regulatory network governing traits such as flowering and light sensing.
