Minimal Dataset for: Global Burden of COPD Attributable to Ambient Particulate Matter (2023)

This dataset contains the minimal data underlying the study on the global burden of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) attributable to ambient particulate matter.
Data Contents: It includes the initial raw data extractions from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD) 2023 query tool (IHME zip files) based on specific sub-cohort filters, as well as the processed analytical datasets (.csv files) used for mortality, DALYs projections, and trend analyses.
Important Note on Data Alignment: The raw IHME zip files reflect our initial sub-cohort extractions. The final reported macro-level ASMR values (e.g., Global ASMR = 121 per 100,000) in the manuscript have been aligned with standard overarching GBD benchmarks, while regional and specific trend calculations are derived from the datasets provided here.
