EMPOWERING EDUCATION THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: OPPORTUNITIES, CHALLENGES AND RISK GOVERNANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DIGITAL LEARNING
收藏资源简介:
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed the landscape of education by introducing new opportunities for personalized learning, intelligent tutoring systems, automated assessment, and data-driven educational decision-making. AI technologies have the potential to enhance teaching effectiveness, improve learning accessibility, and support educational institutions in developing more flexible and inclusive learning environments. However, the integration of AI into education also introduces complex challenges related to academic integrity, data privacy, algorithmic bias, digital inequality, and ethical governance. This conceptual study explores the opportunities, challenges, and risk governance mechanisms associated with AI-driven educational transformation. Drawing upon the Technology Acceptance Model, Human-Centered AI principles, and responsible innovation perspectives, the study develops an integrated framework for sustainable AI adoption in education. The research argues that successful implementation of AI in educational contexts requires a balanced approach combining technological innovation with ethical principles, teacher competencies, institutional readiness, and effective governance structures. The proposed framework highlights that AI should not be viewed as a replacement for teachers but as an intelligent partner supporting educators and learners through enhanced decision-making, personalized instruction, and improved learning experiences. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the importance of AI literacy among teachers and students as a fundamental condition for responsible AI utilization. The findings contribute to the emerging literature on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED) by integrating technological opportunities with governance mechanisms and providing practical recommendations for educational institutions, policymakers, and educators seeking sustainable digital transformation.
