Phosphorus (P) deficiency triggers undermineralization of bone and vertebral deformities. To better understand the regulation of the vertebral bone, we undertook the sequencing of vertebrae from P-deficient and P-sufficient. These data provide a reference for further quantitative studies on the role of P in the vertebral bone regulation.
