A solitary occipital BrM was resected (comprising the pre-SRS sample) with residual disease that progressed shortly within the BrM cavity. The cavity recurrence was then treated with neoadjuvant SRS (20Gy/1 fraction) followed by planned neurosurgical resection 8 days later (comprising the post-SRS sample).
