The Hawaiian Islands Cetacean and Ecosystem Assessment Survey (HICEAS) of 2017 was a large-scale ship survey for cetaceans and seabirds within U.S. waters surrounding the Hawaiian Islands. Seven satellite tags were deployed during HICEAS, including 4 on false killer whales, and 3 on short-finned pilot whales. This data set includes a total of 3 .csv files. One file contains the details of the satellite tag deployments and the other 2 files contain the satellite telemetry locations with associated information for each species tagged during HICEAS.
