a Some respondents’ were unable to provide data for the more detailed categories e.g. ‘boas and pythons’, therefore their sum is not always equal to the total for that group e.g. ‘all snakes’. The total number of reptiles used in the study is calculated from the sum of the ‘all snakes’, ‘all chelonians’ and ‘all lizards’ categories.Also includes the number of respondents and the total number of individual animals used in the analysis.
