Measurement Data from the FluxLab Winter 2026 Controlled Release Campaigns at the Simulation Facility for Landfill Emission Experiments (SIMFLEX)

FluxLab established a permanent methane measurement test site in Petrolia, Ontario, named SIMFLEX – Simulation and Measurement Facility for Landfill Emission Experiments. SIMFLEX incorporates multiple computer-controlled point and area sources capable of emitting up to ~840 kg/hr. This data archive includes measurements from experiments conducted in January 2026. The datasets include the experiment timing (as publicly published in Telegram at the time of the experiment), the methane measurements from four continuous monitoring tripods and one walking Surface Emission Monitoring survey, and on-site wind measurements from six towers. The original data are in CSV format. The archive engine generated the TAB-formatted files. A README.txt file is available within each measurement approach folder.
