Subculturing has been demonstrated to have important biological effects on microorganisms. In this work we present the genomic analysis of two strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), MTB-H37Rv and MTB-DR689, that were subjected to two-hundred continuous subcultures on Middlebrook 7H9 medium, with or without bile (P200B and P200 respectively).
