This dataset was developed by the Intelligent Embedded and Robotic Systems Laboratory at the University of Turku, primarily intended for evaluating infrastructure-free UWB positioning and multi-robot relative positioning technologies. The dataset consists of 24 subsets covering diverse scenarios, including both fixed and mobile nodes, as well as node configurations with varying quantities. During the data collection process, a motion capture system was employed to provide ground-truth data, and inertial or odometry measurements were included to support benchmarking of sensor fusion approaches. Additionally, the dataset contains ranging accuracy measurements based on the relative orientation of antennas, as well as comprehensive ranging measurements between single pairs of nodes. This dataset aims to address the challenges of accurate and robust position estimation in multi-robot systems, particularly in environments without external infrastructure support.
