SIRT6 was reported as a tumor suppressor in multiple cancers via regulating glucose or lipid metabolism, while its role in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) remains unclear.We aimed to investigate the role of SIRT6 in ICC. By experiment, we find that SIRT6 is highly expressed in human ICC tissues and cell lines, as well as in mouse ICC tissues. Knockdown of SIRT6 significantly inhibits ICC cell growth in vitro and ICC development in mouse models, which means SIRT6 acts as an oncogene in Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC).
