Data for the Wind field of Nan'ao Island, China based on CFD numerical simulation

This dataset contains all the simulated wind field data over Nan’ao Island, China and computational settings of CFD simulation in the manuscript titled 'Impact of Topography on the Near-Surface Wind Characteristics over a Hilly Island Using CFD Simulation' that has been submitted to Journal of Geophysical Research-Atmospheres. The computational settings of CFD simulation including the mesh scheme, boundary conditions, and solution scheme can be found in the file ‘CFD settings of Nan'ao Island.cas’, which can be analyzed using Ansys Fluent software developed by Ansys Inc.
