TTD Connector: Raw Event Data Stream (REDS)

**Overview**

The Raw Event Data Stream (REDS) sends RTB activities on The Trade Desk (TTD) platform at the log level, for use by customers who operate their own analytics reporting systems and merge or mingle logs with other partners for various measurement, audience segmentation and enrichment use cases.

**Use cases**

- Attribution Analysis: Build your own custom attribution models and multi-touch attribution reporting.
- Audience Segmentation: Create advanced and unique audiences directly from Databricks.

**Product details**

REDS provides access to data at the lowest level of granularity including a privacy-conscious field for identifiers. Each event type is provided via a near-real-time data stream leveraging secure data sharing. which includes information on impressions, clicks, video events, and conversions, shared in the following tables:

- Impressions: Contains information about purchased impressions.

- Clicks: Contains information about click activity.

- VideoEvents: Contains post-impression event information relating to viewability, video metrics, and audio events.

- Conversions: Contains information about pixel fires and 1P conversion events.

**Getting Access**

To receive data via Databricks Delta Sharing, you will need to provide your **Databricks Sharing Identifier** that aligns with the metastore you will access the data with:

- Your identifier follows the format `cloud:region:uuid` and can be retrieved via Catalog Explorer or by running *`SELECT CURRENT_METASTORE();`* in a notebook

- Once retrieved, share your identifier as part of the request to initiate provisioning
