Quality of Life 2015-16 (ward)

Bristol's Quality of Life indicators are obtained from an annual survey of Bristol residents. In 2015, 4,300 people completed the survey online or on paper in response to an invitation posted to 29,100 households randomly selected from the Land and Property Gazetteer.Weighting is used to adjust the results of the survey to make them more representative of the Bristol population in respect of ward, age and sex. Due to the need to apply these weights only summary totals are available and not individual responses. For every one of the 147 indicators there is a figure for the city as a whole, the “Bristol average” and, additionally, a figure for each of the 34 constituent wards.
