This data set includes four studies which explored cross-modal effects across four phonological and orthographic recognition and production tasks, using the same experimental stimuli and Chinese native speakers as participants.The modality column indicates the category of the task, from 1 to 4 for spoken word recognition, spoken word production, written word recognition, and written word production, respectively.The number in the participants column indicates the number of the participants, and the data for participants 104 and 110, were deleted due to equipment failure and non-compliance with task requirements.Session column indicates the type of relatedness, 1 for orthographically related and 2 for phonologically related.RT and ACC for prime stimulus in modality 1 and 3 are missing because responses to the prime were not recorded.The cond column indicates the relatedness, 0 for semantically related, 1 for related and 2 for unrelated.
