VPRS 15584 Student Assessment and Accreditation Publications (Higher School Certificate)

This series consists of documentation produced as part of the process of the management of the assessment and accreditation of subjects for Victoria Higher School Certificate (HSC) examinations. The publications were produced mainly for the direction and benefit of schools providing post compulsory education in these subjects.Specific records held in this series are the published Handbooks (1965-1990), Courses of Study (1967-1973), Reports of Examiners (1965-1990), copies of VISE & VCAB publications such as the VISE Circular and VISE Bulletin and Course Descriptions (1980-1989) and Course Descriptions.Prior to their transfer to PROV, the records in this series were maintained by former Education History Unit. The Unit, in turn, inherited these records from another source, presumably from a specialist library elsewhere in the department.
