Expenditure on sustainable food in the Netherlands 2013-2021, by retail channel

In 2013, the total expenditure on sustainable food in supermarkets in the Netherlands was approximately 1.4 billion euros. By 2021, this had increased to roughly eight billion euros. The supermarket is by far the most popular purchase channel for sustainable food.
