资源简介:
This thesis analyzes the linguopragmatic features of women’s conflict speech in Uzbek and English literature. The research examines the linguistic means and pragmatic strategies used by female characters during verbal conflicts in literary discourse. Special attention is paid to emotional vocabulary, rhetorical questions, irony, sarcasm, expressive syntax, and speech acts such as complaints, accusations, protests, and reproaches. The study identifies similarities and differences between Uzbek and English women’s conflict communication and explains them through cultural values, gender norms, and communicative traditions. The findings demonstrate that Uzbek female conflict speech is generally indirect and emotionally restrained, while English female conflict speech tends to be more direct and assertive. The thesis contributes to the development of pragmatics, gender linguistics, discourse analysis, and intercultural communication studies.
