Scientific Analysis of two Sacral Examples of Goldsmiths' Art (Inv.-Nr. 1879.320 and 1885.1195 a-h) in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (MKG).

Scientific analysis was performed with mobile instruments in February (2 days) and August (5 days) 2018 at the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe Hamburg (MKG). The results were first presented during the international conference ‘Farbfassungen auf Goldschmiedearbeiten’ held in Dresden, 14–16 November 2018, at the Hans-Nadler-Saal, Residenzschloss, organised by Theresa Witting and Ulrike Weinhold. The results are published in the conference proceedings ‘Farbfassungen auf Gold und Silber / Paints on Gold and Silver’ issued by Theresa Witting and Ulrike Weinhold.
