Spatial gene and sRNA responses in potato HR to PVY

We adapted an approach based on the analysis of small, spatially resolved tissue sections, enabling the separate characterization of PVY-induced responses in cells immediately adjacent to cell death zones (lesions) and in surrounding regions at different times after inoculation. This allowed fine-scale sRNA and gene expression profiling during the hypersensitive response to PVY.
