List of tree species in the Marajó mangrove ecosystems

The database belongs to the manuscript entitled "Composition and structure of the community of mangroves distributed on the east coast of Ilha de Marajó, Brazil", published with Springer Nature in Wetlands Ecology and Management (read here: https://doi.org/10.1007/s11273-022-09901-4). Our database has a list of tree plant species found in mangroves in the municipality of Savaterra, Ilha de Marajó, Pará. In this database, we can find information about the location of the five study areas, abundance of species, information about the distribution of each species in the Brazilian phytogeographic domains and also about the classification of species in the red list of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and the National Flora Conservation Center (CNCFlora). For each species, structural parameters of Height (meter) were calculated in classes according to Spiegel (1977), Circumference at Breast Height - CBH (centimeter), Diameter at Breast Height - DBH (centimeter) and Basal Area (Square meter) between the fringe and inland zones.
