This dataset includes raw files, gene trees, phylogenetic trees, input data, and output data used to identify phylogenetic incongruences within at deep and shallow levels of evolutionary history of Melastomataceae. The mitochondrial and chloroplast dataset includes raw fasta files, alignments, partition files, concatenated phylogenetic trees. Nuclear dataset include raw fasta files generated for two paralog filtering methods, Hybphaser (Nauheimer et al. 2021) and Paragone (Morales-Briones et al. 2022), gene trees and coalescent species tree estimated with Hybphaser paralog filtering used for phylonetwork analysis with SNAQ (Solís-Lemus et al. 2017), and quantification of statistical and biological sourcers of phylogenetic discordance (Cai et al. 2021), and inputs for chromossome evolution using ChromEvol (Glick and Mayrose 2014).
