Parameters were estimated by collective fit to time-course data, as detailed in Methods, except for the non-enzymatic reaction rate constants, for which previously reported values were used [29]. Dataset S1 includes four time courses used in the estimation of glyoxalase I parameters and four time courses used in the estimation of glyoxalase II parameters.
