Comparative genomics provide insights into karyotype evolution in vespertilionid bats (Vespertilionidae, Chiroptera)

We generated a high-quality chromosome-level reference genome assembly of 1.76 Gb (Contig N50: 57.07 Mb, Scaffold N50: 163.27 Mb) for Pipistrellus abramus, of which 99.57% sequences anchoring to 14 pseudochromosomes (12 autosomes, X and Y chromosome). Genome assembly and annotation completeness were estimated using Benchmarking Universal Single-Copy Ortholog (BUSCO), with BUSCO scores of 95.8% and 98.9%, respectively.
