Here are listed supplementary figure and tables from the published article: Alterations in adipogenesis and lipid metabolism in response to long- and short-term exercise training in older women: cross-sectional and longitudinal study (American Journal of Physiology. Endocrinology and Metabolism).   Supplemental Fig. S1. Trial flow diagram. The 213 older subjects willing to enter the study were assessed for eligibility, 122 did not meet inclusion/exclusion criteria, 5 declined to participate the study, 86 subjects were finally recruited. For the “Cross-sectional comparison” 48 older women were analyzed from the Sedentary group (n=29) and the Trained group (n=28). The 55 women were randomized and entered the longitudinal study: 4 months of exercise training combined with/without omega-3 (Calanus oil) supplementation (Placebo n=27, Calanus n=28). Only Placebo group was chosen. The 26 women completed the intervention and 23 women were finally analyzed.
