Cloud cover frequency over land in the period 2000-2022

Package of maps describing the database of annual cloud coverage frequency calculated over land from MODIS-Terra and MODIS-Aqua Collection 6.1 data (using, respectively, MOD10A1 and MYD10A1 level 3 products) in the temporal period 2000 (MODIS-Terra)/2002 (MODIS-Aqua) - 2022. Each raster (.tif) covers the entire globe and is referenced in WGS84 datum. The spatial resolution is, approximately, of 500 m. Along the .tif map, three auxiliary data files are annexed: .tfw for georeferentiation; .ovr for pyramids; .xml for main statistics.
