These three files contain shapefiles (.shp) of genetic breaks for North American mammals and their IUCN ranges. The breaks been classified as either Pleistocene breaks (≥ 11,700 years ago) or Holocene breaks (< 11,700 years ago). Within the zip file are subfolders for each order then within those are folders for each species. These shapefiles were only created for species which we identified as having genetic breaks from existing literature. We digitized breaks in ArcGIS online. We include IUCN ranges because we clipped some of them in cases when < 75% of the range was sampled.
