RiboGrove is a database of 16S rRNA gene sequences of bacteria and archaea.
RiboGrove contains full-length sequences of 16S rRNA genes. The sequences are derived from completely assembled prokaryotic genomes deposited in RefSeq. All genomes used for RiboGrove construction are divided into categories according to their expected reliability.
Additionally, RiboGrove provides various related information such as intragenomic variability of 16S rRNA genes, 16S rRNA copy number per genome, percent coverage of popular primer pairs for different bacterial and archaeal 16S rDNA V-regions, etc.
