18S and rbcL amplicons from water samples taken in March 2020 in lake Baikal, as well as a mixture of lab strains of baikalian diatoms. This project covers two primer pairs for each marker and was intended to compare their performance in distinguishing Ulnaria and Fragilaria species usually predominant in spring phytoplankton of this area.
