Engineering Leadership Mentoring Statistics 2026

First-party aggregate data from an engineering leadership mentoring practice in Central Europe, 2019 to October 2026: 1:1 leadership sessions per year and the topics engineering leaders brought to sessions in 2024, 2025 and 2026. Key findings: AI adoption came up in 44% of recorded 2026 sessions (19 of 43). Career moves and negotiation was the top topic every year from 2024 to 2026, in 28% to 46% of tagged sessions. Delivery and prioritisation fell from 25% of tagged sessions in 2024 to 5% in 2026. Method, coverage and limits are in README.md.
