This dataset includes supplementary data supporting the study, "Global rice methane emissions tripled in the past six decades". The emissions were simulated independently using three methods: a process-based model (CH4MOD), a machine learning model Radom forest (CH4-ML), and the improved emission-factor method (CH4-EF) following the IPCC guidelines. Including:<b>Data S1.</b> Global CH<sub>4</sub> emissions from 1961 to 2020 estimated by CH4MOD, CH4-ML, CH4-EF, and other studies. Related to Figure 1a.
