The 1∶50 000 geological map database of Beigang Town (H49E017023) in Hubei Province is based on the Technical Requirements for Regional Geological Survey (1: 50 000) (DD2019-01) and other geological sectoral specifications. On the premise of fully collecting and utilizing existing geological data, the digital mapping system (DGSS) is used for geological mapping and database setting, and field survey is combined with remote sensing image interpretation, hence the map is finally drawn. Applying the latest magmatic rock theory method, the magmatic rocks in the northern margin of Mufu Mountain are mapped in detail, with the intrusion time limit, rock type and contact relationship of seven different intrusion periods identified, the evolution sequence of magmatic rocks established, and the rock genesis and tectonic background also discussed. Mufu Mountain granite pegmatite is divided into five categories: tourmaline pegmatite, tourmaline-beryl pegmatite, beryl pegmatite, beryl-niobium tantalite pegmatite and niobium tantalite-lithium tourmaline-lepidolite pegmatite, which correspond to five stages of pegmatite evolution and rare metal enrichment, to be specific, non-mineralization → Be-containing → Be-rich → Be-rich, Nb, Ta → Be-rich, Nb, Ta and Li. Some pegmatites in Duanfeng Mountain area on the northern margin of the working area have evolved to the fourth stage, which has great potential for rare metal prospecting. The geological map database fully reflects the fundamental results of 1∶50 000 regional geological survey, and represents important scientific research value for Mesozoic magmatism and pegmatite-type rare metal mineralization in South China.

湖北省北港镇(H49E017023)1∶5万地质图数据库,依据《区域地质调查技术要求(1:50 000)》(DD2019-01)及其他地质行业规范编制。 在全面收集利用现有地质资料的前提下,采用数字地质填图系统(DGSS)开展地质填图与数据库构建工作,并结合野外实测与遥感影像解译,最终完成成图。 运用最新岩浆岩理论方法,对幕阜山北缘岩浆岩开展详细填图,厘定了7个不同侵入期次的侵入时限、岩石类型及接触关系,建立了岩浆岩演化序列,并探讨了岩石成因与构造背景。 幕阜山花岗岩伟晶岩划分为电气石伟晶岩、电气石-绿柱石伟晶岩、绿柱石伟晶岩、绿柱石-铌钽矿伟晶岩及铌钽矿-锂电气石-锂云母伟晶岩5类,分别对应伟晶岩演化与稀有金属富集的5个阶段,即无矿化阶段→含铍阶段→富铍阶段→富铍、铌、钽阶段→富铍、铌、钽、锂阶段。 工作区北缘段峰山区域部分伟晶岩已演化至第四阶段,具备良好的稀有金属找矿潜力。 该地质图数据库全面反映了1∶5万区域地质调查的核心成果,对华南地区中生代岩浆作用及伟晶岩型稀有金属成矿研究具有重要科学价值。
