Dataset for: Well-scale multiphase flow characterization and validation using distributed fiber-optic sensors for gas kick monitoring
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the fiber optic Distributed Temperature Sensor (DTS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensor (DAS), and frequency band energy (FBE) data collected from well-scale experiments conducted at Louisiana State University (LSU), in January 2020. Two-phase experiments consisting of nitrogen gas injection in circulating or static water column were conducted on a 5025 ft deep test-well at LSU. Gas rise signatures were observed at different injection volumes, circulation rates, backpressure conditions, and injection methods (through tubing or injection line). This dataset supports the publication: Jyotsna Sharma, Otto L. A. Santos, Giuseppe Feo, Oloruntoba Ogunsanwo, and Wesley Williams. 2020. Well-scale multiphase flow characterization and validation using distributed fiber-optic sensors for gas kick monitoring. Optics Express 28(26): 38773-38787. DOI: 10.1364/OE.404981. The experiments and data collection process is described in detail in the publication.
