资源简介:

An examination of the heterogeneity of myeloid cell subsets in the fungal-infected brain, comparing early and late time points post-infection. We focus on Cryptococcus neoformans infection for these studies, since this is the most common cause of fungal brain infection in humans. Overall design: In this experiment, wild-type C57BL/6 mice were infected intravenously with the fungus Cryptococcus neoformans (strain H99). Brains were taken from uninfected controls or at day 3 and day 6 post-infection. Myeloid cells (defined as CD45+CD11b+) were FACS purified from brain samples, and the cells analysed by single-cell RNA sequencing using the 10X platform.
