PIMETAN 1-Characterisation of physico-chemical parameters of water samples from Deception Island.

Physical-chemical parameters were adquired from several stations within the Port Foster caldera with a CTD sensor from a zodiac, in coastal waters from Baily Head and Vapour Col, as well as from Crater Lake, with a CastAway-CTD attached to a drone, for measurements of temperature, pH, conductivity, salinity and dissolved oxygen. Likewise, surface water samples were also collected at the same locations for analysis of trace metals, organic and inorganic nutrients, dissolved organic carbon, alkalinity and ligands.
