资源简介:
The data uploaded herein represents the results from a SOX2 RNA Immunoprecipitation sequencing (SOX2 RIP-seq) experiment performed on the KYSE450 human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell line. RIP-seq is a technique designed to globally identify RNA molecules that are bound by a specific protein of interest—in this case, SOX2. The experimental workflow involves crosslinking RNA-protein complexes in cells, immunoprecipitating the complexes using an antibody specific to SOX2, and then sequencing the associated RNA fragments. The resulting data, presented in an .xls spreadsheet file, contains the sequencing read counts for various RNA species (likely mRNAs and non-coding RNAs) that were enriched in the SOX2 immunoprecipitate compared to a control (such as an IgG immunoprecipitation or input RNA). This dataset provides valuable insights into the RNA interactome of SOX2 in KYSE450 cells, revealing the direct RNA targets of SOX2 and potentially elucidating its post-transcriptional regulatory functions. This information serves as a crucial resource for further investigating the mechanisms by which SOX2 influences gene expression and cellular behavior.
