Initially a mapping population of 60 F1 individuals was developed from the cross '93/1-117' x '93/1-119'. These plants were genotyped with AFLP and RAPD markers. The population was increased to 88 F1 individuals. The larger population was genotyped with RFLP, AFLP and SSR markers. Also mapped were horticultural traits and resistance to pathogens.
