The selected metagenomic datasets are shotgun sequence data from respiratory samples (nasopharyngeal swabs and BAL) from paediatric patients.Both DNA and RNA were sequenced simultaneously using an Illumina (NextSeq 500) library preparation protocol with in-house adaptations. Human reads have been removed before uploading.
