Phenotypic Dataset: Behavioral and Morphological Traits and Hair Cortisol Concentration in Goats (Capra hircus)

This dataset comprises behavioral, morphological, and physiological characteristics of domestic goats (Capra hircus) collected to investigate non-invasive indicators of chronic stress. Behavioral traits (Phe1–Phe38) were quantified using a structured assessment based on the Quantitative Behavior Assessment (QBA) approach. The dataset also includes measurements of cortisol concentration in wool and plasma, alongside key morphological features such as coat coloration and pigmentation, and demographic variables including sex, age, horn status.
