The dataset contains the following files:

brittleCreepScript.nb - Commented Mathematica Notebook script containing the steps needed to plot Figure 8

TertiaryCreep.mat - mechanical data from tertiary creep of Etna basalt (Mansbach 2022) and Iceland basalt (Xing et al. 2022) experiments. First column - time (sampled at 1S/s), second column - axial strain, third column - differential stress (MPa).
