The BrainSpan Atlas of the Developing Human Brain is a foundational resource for investigating the transcriptional mechanisms underlying human brain development. This database houses developmental transcriptomic data, prenatal laser-capture microdissection microarray data, in situ hybridization image data, and anatomical reference atlases of the human brain. The data span the entire trajectory of human brain development from fetal to adult stages, including high-resolution neuroanatomical transcriptomic profiles of cortical and subcortical structures.
