This dataset is a study on the multistability phenomena in viscoelastic fluids in two-dimensional channel flow. The dataset includes four different attractors (statistically stable states), which exhibit four different behaviors depending on the initial conditions even with the same set of parameters. These attractors include the laminar state (LAM), steady arrowhead regime (SAR), Elasto-inertial turbulence (EIT), and chaotic arrowhead regime (CAR). The dataset comprises snapshots of these attractors and two edge states, which are unstable states located at the boundary between two basins of attractors. The data was generated using the Dedalus software and includes fields for pressure, velocity, and positive definite conformation tensors.
