Transaction volume of business credit card payments in Italy 2012-2020

In 2020, the total number of transactions concluded with business credit cards in Italy reached approximately 95 million. A glance at the graph reveals the increasing popularity of this payment method: between 2012 and 2019, the number of credit card transactions grew by approximately 70 percent overall. However, in 2017, there was a drop in the number of business credit card transactions, which fell to 79 million from 91.6 million in 2016.
