We choose to evaluate model performance on R2 of residuals as well as the Mean Absolute Error. We also include the Moran’s I as a measure of the spatial autocorrelation. High R2, low MAE, and low Moran’s I are desirable, suggesting that the Random Forest consistently performs the best of all three models.
